A bit of history

Although the origin of card games is not known for sure, the majority opinion indicates that they were created in China, around 800 years ago in the 12th century. These early cards were paper representations of dominoes. As they passed through India and Persia around the 16th century, would begin to appear playing cards as we know them now.
